Van Houcke has been the exclusive importer of three-phase MEZ electric motors in Belgium for over 70 years. This extensive experience enables us to provide optimal service to our customers. We are available 24/7 and are known for our comprehensive after-sales service. From our spacious facility in Jabbeke, we maintain a wide and varied stock of electric motors, spare parts, and accessories. With two branches (Belgium & UK), we operate in five countries.

Due to expansion, we are looking for an Electric Motor Technician.

Your responsibilities

• Mechanical modification of electric motors
  • Turning and milling work
  • Installing flanges and gearboxes
  • Replacing bearings
  • Sealing motors
• Electrical modification of electric motors
• Careful picking and packing of goods
• Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment and ensuring accurate stock management

Profile

You have completed a technical secondary education (TSO) in (electro)mechanics or have equivalent A2-level experience through work. You have a strong interest in electric motors and drive technology. You are flexible, stress-resistant, and service-oriented. You can work both independently and as part of a team.
